TP-LINK TL-SG1016 16 Port Gigabit Switch

The TP-Link TL-SG1016 16-Port Unmanaged Rackmount Gigabit Switch is specially designed for Ethernet (10Mbps), Fast Ethernet (100Mbps) and Gigabit Ethernet (1000Mbps) with seamless link. Each port supports up to 2000Mbps throughput in full duplex mode. It is the perfect choice to improve the performance of Offices and Workgroups networks. The TP-Link TL-SG1016 is a simple plug and play switch within the TP-Link range of networking products, with no software configuration, while providing high performance ports that allow for simple and effective expansion od small and medium sized enterprise networks, making work that much more efficient.

Key Features

  • 16 10/100/1000M RJ45 ports.
  • Supports MAC address self-learning and auto MDI/MDIX.
  • Standard 19-inch rack-mountable steel case.
  • All ports support Full/half duplex transfer mode for 10Mbps/100Mbps and Full duplex transfer mode for 1000Mbps.
  • Supports Auto-MDI/MDIX function.
  • Supports IEEE 802.3X flow control for full-duplex mode and back pressure flow control for half-duplex mode.
  • Store and forward Switching scheme.

Go Green with your Ethernet

This new TP-Link TL-SG1016 Switch features the latest innovative energy-efficient technologies that can greatly expand your network capacity with much less power. When a computer or other piece of network equipment is off, the TP-Link TL-SG1016 switch can automatically detect the link status of each port and reduce the power consumption of ports that are idle. The switch also analyses the length of the Ethernet cable connected and adjusts the power usage accordingly, rather than keeping the power consumption in a conventional solution, saving the power that would otherwise be wasted.

Easy to Use

The automatic features of this TP-Link TL-SG1016 switch makes plug and play installation efficient and hassle-free. Auto MDI/MDIX eliminates the need for crossover cables. Auto-negotiation on each port senses the link speed of a network device (10, 100, or 1000 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance.

Standard warranty: limited lifetime
